7 rules
Redstone
Manual resource production, automation restrictions and server-friendly redstone use.
Automatic Redstone Farms Are Prohibited
Any redstone system designed to automatically generate, harvest, collect, breed, kill, process, or produce resources is prohibited, regardless of its size, efficiency, or output.
Farm Size Does Not Matter
There is no exemption for small, slow, inefficient, or personal-use automatic farms. If a redstone system automates resource production, it is not allowed.
Redstone Is Intended for Cosmetic and Interactive Builds
Redstone may be used for doors, gates, bridges, lighting, traps used for decoration or gameplay, secret entrances, elevators, displays, minigames, and other creative contraptions that do not automate resource production.
Industrial Redstone Is Prohibited
Large-scale machinery, automated factories, item-processing systems, mass sorting facilities, automated smelters, automated storage networks, and similar industrial systems are not permitted.
Players Must Perform Resource Production Manually
Farming, harvesting, breeding, mob killing, fishing, smelting, crafting, and other resource-producing activities must require meaningful player involvement rather than being performed automatically by redstone.
Do Not Circumvent the Rule With Technicalities
Systems designed to technically require a button press, lever, timer reset, occasional interaction, or other minimal input may still be considered automatic if the system performs most of the productive work for the player.
Redstone Must Not Cause Server Performance Issues
Excessive clocks, rapid piston systems, unnecessary entity movement, large hopper networks, or other redstone contraptions that create excessive server load may be removed even when they are otherwise permitted.
