Blacksmithing
Refine metals and forge tools, weapons and armour through hands-on workshop stations.
Overview
Blacksmithing is physical metalworking. Materials move through anvils, furnaces, cauldrons and grindstones as you progress from basic iron and copper into Bronze, Silver and Steel.

Workstations & Forging
Forging moves between different stations as materials are refined, shaped, quenched and finished.
Anvil
Stage materials with left-click, then use the Blacksmith Hammer for recipe strikes. Shift-left-click cancels and refunds the exact staged components.
Blast Furnace
Used for refining, softening and reheating, including Forge Coke, Forge Flux and Steel production.
Lava Cauldron
Used for Bronze alloying and Silver refining. Molten batches are collected with an Empty Crucible.
Water Cauldron
Used to quench and cool hot workpieces. Incorrect Bronze quenching can create brittle material.
Grindstone
Used to sharpen unfinished blades and toolheads through a timed finishing process.
Heat & Settling
Steel cools through Hot → Slightly Hot → Warm → Cold. Finished forged mining tools then need 20–30 minutes to settle before use.
Metals & Progression
Progression follows four main tiers: Iron/Copper → Bronze → Silver → Steel. Level 30 is the current cap.
Iron & Copper
The profession begins with Iron and Copper Billets, Rivets, Binding Wire, Forge Coke and the Blacksmith Hammer.
Begins at Level 1Bronze
Bronze begins with alloying at Level 5, then expands into billets, toolheads, tools, weapons, plates and armour through Level 14.
Bronze Mastery at Level 14
Silver
Silver refining begins at Level 15 and leads into the Silver Shortblade, a specialist anti-monster weapon.

Steel refining starts at Level 21 and progresses through billets, components, tools, weapons, plates and armour to Level 30 mastery.

Repairs & Specialisms
Repairs and cross-profession tools unlock alongside the main metal tiers.
Repairs
From Level 13, Iron and Bronze equipment can be repaired on the Anvil using matching Billets and Rivets. Repairs restore 25% durability, improving to 35% from Level 20.
Silver Shortblade
The Silver Shortblade is a specialist anti-monster weapon with extra effectiveness against hostile monsters and a short bleed effect.
Farming Tools
Blacksmiths manufacture Iron and Steel Watering Cans and Sickles. Blacksmithing controls when they can be made; Farming independently controls when their profession effects can be used.
