Profession Guide

Alchemy

Brew remedies, reagents, poisons and high-level mixtures through an interactive cauldron station.

Overview

Alchemy is hands-on brewing rather than a normal crafting menu. Add ingredients in order, control the heat, stir the batch, let it steep and collect the result correctly.

The Alchemist Station

Every brew follows the same basic loop: build the station, add ingredients, set the temperature, stir, wait and collect.

COLD→WARM→HOT→BOILING

Build the Station

Place a normal Cauldron directly above a Blast Furnace and fill the Cauldron completely with water.

Control Heat

Sneak + right-click the Blast Furnace to raise temperature; sneak + left-click it to lower temperature.

Stir & Inspect

Right-click the Cauldron with a Wooden Shovel to stir. Empty-hand right-click shows brew status.

Collect Results

Use a Glass Bottle for bottle outputs or an empty hand for component/reagent outputs.

  1. Build and fill the Alchemist Station.
  2. Add the recipe ingredients in the exact required order.
  3. Move the brew to its required temperature.
  4. Perform the required number of valid stirs.
  5. Let the brew cook or steep for the required time.
  6. Collect the finished product in the required way.

Once a batch begins, it belongs to the original brewer. Other Alchemists may inspect it, but cannot alter it or collect its result. Breaking an active station safely returns tracked unfinished inputs.

Herbs & Refined Ingredients

Farming supplies many herbs, while Mining and Blacksmithing contribute minerals and components for higher-level recipes.

Current presentation. Incense is currently a consumable bottle that releases its area effect. Poisons are currently consumable/testing-style products; weapon or food coating is not a live mechanic and is not documented as one. Madmans and Height of Man keep their delayed drawbacks through logout.
Finished oils. Kindling Oil uses BOILING / 2 stirs / 15s and provides 3 uses; Deepdelver Oil uses WARM / 2 stirs / 20s and provides 3 uses. Kindling Oil reduces eligible forged-tool settling time by 25%, while Deepdelver Oil provides a temporary quarry-speed benefit.
