The Kingdom of Númenor
A new crown raised from the collapse of the Mistlike KingdomThe Kingdom of Númenor emerged after the collapse of the Mistlike Kingdom, when the old name had become burdened by memories of instability, rebellion and a king’s slide into madness.
From collapse to succession
The long reign of King Marcus Solwrit deteriorated into confusion and repeated abdications before he finally declared himself a pirate lord and vanished. In the chaos that followed, much of the old Mistlike project splintered. House Stormcrown, already marked by the loss of one empire, chose not to let the realm simply drift apart.
Revan and the new crown
Revan Stormcrown III took up the burden of rule when few others would. For Númenor’s chroniclers, this matters deeply: the kingdom is born not just from conquest, but from refusal to let a people collapse into leaderless ruin.
A fresh name
The adoption of the name Númenor represents a conscious break with the darker reputation attached to the old Mistlike identity. It is framed as a fresh beginning for the south-western people, while still preserving continuity through House Stormcrown and the memory of Elendil.
Standing in the new age
Númenor remains a hereditary monarchy and a player-led kingdom still defining itself. Its lore emphasises renewal, maritime identity and the survival instinct of a house that has already witnessed one imperial end.
Revan Stormcrown III is the key figure in Númenor’s royal story.
